Plants
Plants are a major tool of the landscape architect. Plants define space, support landscape style, create character, and stimulate the senses. Plants are dynamic, they are a living building material. Over time they will grow larger, change form, and multiply. Unlike hard landscape materials such as stone, timber or metal, plants evolve, changing the character and definition of outdoor spaces.
