Plants are a major material for the landscape architect. Plants define
space, support style, create character, and stimulate the senses. Plants
are dynamic; they are a living building material. Over time they will
grow larger, change form, and multiply. Plants evolve, changing the character
and definition of outdoor spaces.
Based on our experience and observation, we will highlight the design
qualities, growing specs, and maintenance requirements of each featured
plant.

Zephyranthes candida
Zephyranthes candida is a small bulbous plant with narrow grass-like leaves and single creamy-white flowers at the top of slender stalks. Zephyranthes rosea produces pink flowers but doesn't bloom as abundantly as candida.
